Topic: pkgsrc howto

Adrian Nida has just posted a pkgsrc howto in the DragonFly wiki: http://wiki.dragonflybsd.org/index.php/HOWTO/pkgsrc

Probably worth trying it out, as it seems pkgsrc will be the base for dfly's own pkg manager.

True smile

<wintellect> NetBSD users are smart enough to accept that there's no 3D support tongue

Re: pkgsrc howto

pkgsrc rocks my world.  Althought it didn't work for my 1.2 release.  Said bmake command didn't exist and i followed the steps exactly.  Heh..oh well.

Re: pkgsrc howto

Hmmm, that's weird. It worked fine for me. Did you add /usr/pkg/{bin|sbin} to your PATH?

Re: pkgsrc howto

yeah, i did. lol.  Oh well, openbsd-current is back on my laptop and working great tongue
