Do you see any advantages of Ion over WMI? They're similar, but I've used Ion before and WMI just "feels" better for me. Maybe it has changed...

Re: Post your screenshot

Ion was pretty cool. Very tiny WM that works quite fast. Suits me perfectly at work for what I do!

The only downside is that it uses some weird coding language to make it work - and I don't really fancy learning it tongue

finally got X to run at 1024x768 on my tiny little 12" screen (thanks DaGr8Gatzby! smile).  using links until Firefox is done compiling, which shouldn't be anytime soon at this rate...

For example, Linux had at least two completely independent USB stacks before Linus Torvalds rejected them both and wrote a third one from scratch, after he found both existent Linux  stacks unsatisfactory.  (When pressed for an explanation as to why he selected the API he did, Torvalds stated: "because I wanted to."

Re: Post your screenshot

rounded corners are damn sweet....they need to add that to FVWM

Re: Post your screenshot

Well, seeing how my DragonFly BSD machine is up and running, here's some screenshots using Ion:

Here's a normal desktop for me.  Running xsetiathome, naim(SSHed into my server0, and BitTornado getting OpenOffice source:

Here's me running FSV(File System Viewer), browing my ~/music/ folder:

I see you're using Mozilla, is that the Linux version? And if so, is there a Linux-Flash port that works with it?

No its the native one with the open flash plugin. Works ok, but then again I don't deal with flash much.
