Topic: Ranks!!!!

Hey all, can anyone remember the "ranks" we had?  I'll gladly set these up again if we can either remember them, or agree on a new set tongue

32

Re: Ranks!!!!

I think it would be nice to just have "New member" and "Member" for all users, and then change the "title" for people manually so that it fits with the person.
Like "WIntellect - NetBSD addict", "Andre - DragonFly hacker" etc.

Re: Ranks!!!!

Done for myself smile

I think it's more interesting to have the other members decide (suitable tongue)   ones for you.   I didn't think of myself as a NetBSD Addict - but I guess I am tongue   So I went with jage's suggestion.

The idea will also add some personality to our online nicks in these forums; and perhaps help n00bs see the variety of knowledge / skill we have here smile

Re: Ranks!!!!

I think it's a nice idea. Now if only I could think up a better title for myself wink

Re: Ranks!!!!

i agree with the humor idea.  Possibly random animals, vegtables, colors, forms of transportation? Marmot, Cauliflower, Orange and Airplane?  Or....mix them together: Orange Airplane full of Cauliflower Marmots...

Re: Ranks!!!!

Hmm, either lots and lots of ranks or personal ones.

Re: Ranks!!!!

Well, I would love to be able to fill in my own rank such as "Unix Nut" since that's what the people here at work call me wink
