lol accents always sound better on other people tongue

re Midnightbsd: It was something I kept quiet for a while as I felt rather "young" in my coding practise to be shouting from the roof tops about it. I'm overjoyed that Lucas Holt (the main midnightbsd guy) allowed me to be part of the project. I'm learning a lot and enjoying every minute of it! It's nice to be part of a "bigger" project and something I always wanted to try.

thanks. I felt very self-concious when speaking, and very nervous.

I think it went ok overall - but I keep over analysing it and wondering what things I would have said differently.

Very nice interview.

Cleared up some of my MidnightBSD questions smile

Just listened to this. What a name dropper tongue

Great interview Wintellect

... and then they said "I bet you can't make MINIX kernel panic!!!" And that's when I got mad

Re: BSDTalk interview with wintellect

Listening now as I type this message, well done mate! smile

Re: BSDTalk interview with wintellect

KP!!!!  Where ya been???

Now, as KP is from Texas, and hopefully has a Texas accent, an interview with him and Wintellect would be even cooler.

Sigh, we in the Northeastern US, aside from Boston, don't have cool accents.

Hiya scottro. It's been too long. I haven't had much time for posting in the forums in quite a while. Been concentrating on moving up in my job and trying to balance ubergeek and uberdad. I should be around a little more often now.

While I do have the deep southern accent, I don't believe I'm quite the right guy to be doing interviews. Now, if you were to do an interview, what with you neverending stream of How-Tos and obscure documentation, that would be interesting.

Nice to see you back KP!

Glad to hear you enjoyed it.

Several people have now commented on the name dropping - but I feel it only fair to attribute credit to the right people. I mean, it wouldn't be right for me to get sole credit for the forums simply 'cos it uses the bsdnexus.com domain; NTM, it was Maxlor's excellent efforts that have granted us the IRC server, nothing to do with me.  smile

big_smile too bad I don't really have a Boston accent.  I do say "wicked" in place of "very" though.  like I'd call something "wicked cool" or something like that.

great interview so far, wintellect.  I've just gotten to the part about MidnightBSD.
