Topic: full partition

The FreeBSD handbook said a 50mb partition will suffice for /var...so I gave it 72mb and now it's full!

What is the best way to view which files take up the most space? I've tried ls -Slh but...I don't seem to be getting anywhere and ls -SRlh is too much.

My normal approach is useless here.

$ gcc -Wall Kuno.c -o Kuno
Kuno.c: In function 'main':
Kuno.c:5: warning: unused variable 'Life'

Re: full partition

du -h /var

Re: full partition

Ah thanks, my clientmqueue directory was taking up 34 megabytes. Problem fixed!

$ gcc -Wall Kuno.c -o Kuno
Kuno.c: In function 'main':
Kuno.c:5: warning: unused variable 'Life'
