Topic: Question about fonts

Hi,

I have a font called monofur. It is listen in /usr/local/lib/X11/fonts/TTF as monof56.ttf

Where is the "true" name of the font stored?

Sex --> power --> money --> more power --> more money --> (even more sex, perverts)

Re: Question about fonts

One way, sure there are others: you can look it name (as it appears in kword, abiword, ..) if you open it inside fontforge (print/fontforge).

BTW, truetype fonts doesnt have nothing directly with FreeBSD (nice feature of *BSDs), so this forum should have Xorg subforums like how it is done in bsdforums, or any question regarding Xorg should be forbiden smile

Inside the font (with TrueType fonts, inside the name table to be precise). Your system's config files will most probably not contain a reference to the font's real name anywhere.
