Topic: Marvell 88E8038 ethernet adaptor no longer works with NetBSD 5

With ACPI disabled*, my Marvell Yukon 2 ethernet adaptor worked with NetBSD 4. However, as of NetBSD 5 (installed via Jibbed) it can't connect to anything - the connection always times out. Nothing dodgy appears in dmesg, but something is definitely not right.

Has anyone else seen this? If it's a known bug with the msk driver, are there any options I can pass to it as a workaround?

* The ACPI thing is unrelated. Basically, my laptop has a buggy BIOS that clears resources for some of the hardware when ACPI is enabled, which means that my ethernet and wireless hardware are unusable by BSD operating systems when ACPI is enabled. It's stupid, but I deal with it.

With such a specific issue I would ask my question on NetBSD mailing lists.

I have unfortunately no clue.
