Topic: NetBSD resources

Here are some useful NetBSD related links:

http://www.netbsd.org NetBSD Website
http://www.netbsd.org/Ports/arch/ architecture specific pages (replace arch with the architecture, eg i386)
http://www.netbsd.org/Ports/Hardware supported by NetBSD
http://www.netbsd.org/guide/en/ The NetBSD guide
http://www.netbsd.org/Documentation/pkgsrc/ The pkgsrc guide

NetBSD use of words
To clarify how NetBSD uses its words, the following are true:

ports - used to refer to a particular platform/architecture running the OS. Eg. i386, macppc and amd64 are all ports
pkgsrc - used to refer to the collection of third party applications available for install via a hierarchical directory structure

Re: NetBSD resources

http://www.newbie-net.de/ has lots of howto's and articles about net, as well as other *nix's

http://blog.onetbsd.de/ is pretty new but i think they'll be a reliable place for info

Re: NetBSD resources

There's also the relatively new NetBSD wiki at

http://wiki.aydogan.net/index.php/Main_Page

<@andre> i would be so much more efficient if i wasn't so stupid

Re: NetBSD resources

http://onetbsd.org takes RSS feeds of a lot of NetBSD-related blogs and stuff and puts them on one page.  I check it most every day smile.
