NetBSD use of words
To clarify how NetBSD uses its words, the following are true:
ports - used to refer to a particular platform/architecture running the OS. Eg. i386, macppc and amd64 are all ports
pkgsrc - used to refer to the collection of third party applications available for install via a hierarchical directory structure
