Topic: IRC CGI required

Hi WIntellect.

Is it possible to put a IRC CGI script to join the channel from you website ? I do not have any access from the 6667 neutral

Thanks.

Re: IRC CGI required

Because of the way the servers actually work, this may be a better question for jage wink

Jage - is this something you could do?

Re: IRC CGI required

I'm not in favor of that, because of the abuse that it'll make possible. If it's only port 6667 that's blocked for you, I could make other ports available however (say, 7000).

I'm not that fond of these online IRC-CGI-scripts, because of the abuse risk and maintenance required.

Delf: Try using a proxy/bouncer on a port that's accessible for you.
