Topic: using XMMS plugins with BMP (beep-media-player)

for those who don't know, BMP is basically a GTK+2 version of XMMS with anti-aliased fonts.  the only reason I've ever used XMMS over it is because of the abundance of plugins available in pkgsrc.  the only BMP plugin in pkgsrc is a bmp-musepack.

so anyways, the two programs are so similar that all I had to do was copy the XMMS Iutput plugins that I wanted from /usr/pkg/lib/xmms/Input to /usr/pkg/lib/bmp/Input.  so now I have FLAC support and an Audioscrobbler plugin for BMP smile.  the only catch is that you can't click on the Preferences button in BMP for the plugin, or BMP will crash hmm.

you're just mad because the resizing was laggy and you like to resize windows when you're bored tongue.

it should be snappy regardless of how frequently i resize it.

I think bmp is nice , although I can't make FLAC support work  for myself.
