Topic: Confused about Maildir on courier imap

Hello,

I have postfix deliver mail in Maildir format to /var/mail/vmail/<domain>/<user>

I am confused why I need Maildir in the path? I run courier imap and everything works except it doesnt work
since the client cant open the mailbox.

The test entry henry@test3.dk  systempw=uPM1c0qBJSFLM|uid=5000|home=/var/mail/vmail/test3.dk|gid=5000

I consider switching to Dovecot and mailbox format instead. pca

I'm not sure I understand what the problem is

Switching to Dovecot is a good idea in any case IMO

Trust me, I know what I'm doing.
