Topic: framebuffer terminal

Hey guys,

I want my terminal to be displayed in 1024 by 768 instead of the huge fonts im using now.

Can any of you guys give me a heads up on what I need to do?

Its fairly straight forward on gentoo linux, but its time to move on from the penguin.

Josh.

Re: framebuffer terminal

if you search the NetBSD mailing lists from the main page for "console resolution" (with the quotes!), you'll get quite a few results.  all I'm finding is being able to make it 80x50 though.

Re: framebuffer terminal

man 4 vga

may be a place to start - but you need to remember, wscons is system independant so may restrict functionality to support the multitude of hardware
