Topic: classpath

0.18 has just been released and it seems that Jedit user could use it ``natively", I mean without adding some options, from the next release.

I noticed that pkgsrc is using 0.12.

Jedit is a must for me and if I could run it without installing sun's binaries, by using classpath for example, it would be a great added value for me.

Can't understand why pkgsrc is using a such old release, it seems there is a few interest on that port.

sad

Re: classpath

Look in the Makefile of the pkgsrc directory for the entry "Maintainer" - this gives you the email address if the maintainer.

Drop 'em an email and find out (politely) why the pkgsrc hasn't been updated.

I've emailed maintainers before

Re: classpath

Yup, thanks.

It says:

MAINTAINER=        tech-pkg@NetBSD.org

I just tried to send an e-mail there without subscribing, not sure it is possible, eventually I will subscribe to the mailing list.
